Tampa Bay Newcomers, Inc. was established over 50 years ago as a social organization for women new to the area, giving them the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others who live in the Tampa Bay metro area.  Membership is open to new arrivals as well as to established Tampa Bay residents.  The club sponsors a number of activities which encourage members to learn about the area, its culture, activities and lifestyle, and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other. 

We also support several local charities through fundraising and volunteering.  Look further into our web site and you will discover an exciting range of activities to explore.  Tampa Bay has much to offer, so we want to encourage you take advantage of it.  Once you become part of the Tampa Bay Newcomers, we know you will have a great time here.

Adventurers - Try your hand at some of the more active venues in the area. Various outdoor and indoor activities.

Bowling Babes - This growing group has so much fun that they're bowling twice a month at various locations around Tampa. Painless exercise with no skill required.

Breakfast and Books - A casual group of people who enjoy books and reading.

Bunko - A dice game that’s easy to learn and fun to play.

Casual Bridge - Casual bridge for all levels of play.

Couples Bridge - Couples bridge for all levels of play.

Couples Date Night - How about a casual night out - a light bite followed by some good, old-fashioned fun? We may catch a movie, go bowling, shoot some billiards, and maybe even take in a USF basketball game.

Designing Women - This group visits various places around the area related to interior and exterior decorating. Great for picking up tips and ideas!

Dinner for Eight - Each group of 4 couples get together once a month for an evening of dinner with each couple taking a turn as host. Groups change twice a year.

Divot Divas - Casual golfing for all levels of play.

Great Escapes - Enjoy outings to places of interest in the surrounding Tampa Bay area.

Hearts for Heros - Help to package gifts fro troops in the Middle East.

Hope Lodge Outreach - Help to provide an arts and crafts program for the residents of Hope Lodge at the Moffitt Cancer Center .

Lunch Bunch - Discover some new eateries and enjoy the company of other ladies new to the area.

Movie and Lunch - We meet to view a movie at a theater or in someone's home with a brief discussion following. We then go to lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Movie Night Out - Enjoy a movie and munchies (before and/or after) with other newcomers.

Quilting/Needlecraft - Make friends while working on your own needlework projects. Quilting instruction is available.

Pleasure of Your Company - Enjoy having lunch with friends? This is your chance to enjoy good company and good food over a relaxing meal. In groups of eight, you meet at each other’s home’s for either lunch or brunch (hostess’s choice).

Scrabble - The classic game of fun for all levels of play.

Solos - This group is for ladies who are on their own.

TGIS/Weekend Social - An opportunity to get together as couples or singles for dinners, parties, concerts, etc.
